Deutsche Bank cuts Rheinmetall price target to €1,650 and keeps buy rating
Deutsche Bank lowered its price target for Rheinmetall from €1,800 to €1,650 but left its rating at buy. Analyst Christoph Laskawi cites an expectations dilemma ahead of the capital markets day and calls for credible building blocks to support the 2030 targets. He reduced his estimates but still sees growth potential and a valuation discount to the sector. The stock is down about 33.5 percent so far in 2026; Q3 figures are expected on 05.11.2026. » Altro su finanzen.net
Rheinmetall opens Telford gun hall to produce tank and artillery barrels in UK
Rheinmetall has started production at a newly built factory in Telford to manufacture 155mm artillery and future 120mm tank barrels for UK and NATO use, with initial capacity of 245 barrels and 50 breeches per year and theoretical expansion to about 1,000 a year if orders materialise. UK defence secretary Wes Streeting and senior military officials highlighted the move as part of efforts to restore domestic large-calibre weapons manufacturing and reduce reliance on foreign suppliers amid increased European rearmament. Rheinmetall is also in talks to produce more ammunition in the UK and has seen its market value surge since Russia's 2022 invasion of Ukraine, reflecting strong demand for defence suppliers. » Altro su theguardian.com
Rheinmetall opens Telford gun-barrel factory as Wes Streeting warns of state-sponsored infrastructure attacks
At the opening of Rheinmetall’s new tank gun barrel factory in Telford, defence secretary Wes Streeting urged the UK to prepare for state-sponsored ‘hybrid’ attacks on infrastructure, including cyber strikes that could disrupt payment systems and supply chains. He called for greater national resilience and asked households and businesses to consider emergency preparedness. Streeting also signalled plans for increased defence investment, saying the chancellor will aim to raise military spending to 3.5% of GDP in the next spending review. » Altro su theguardian.com
