Rockwell Automation has introduced TechConnectIQ Support, a 24/7 remote service for industrial automation, initially available to contract customers with one site in North America; expansion to additional regions is planned for 2027. The service combines hardware and software support in three tiers (Basic, Standard, Professional) and provides web-based real-time access to specialists, scheduled callbacks, and live support via the myRockwellAutomation TechConnect hub. Rockwell Automation integrates AI image recognition into Plex quality management

Rockwell Automation has integrated FactoryTalk Analytics VisionAI via API into the Plex Quality Management System to embed AI-based visual inspections into quality workflows. The solution supports new and existing camera systems, records inspection results on the Plex platform, and ensures traceability and a complete inspection history. The integration is built on Plex’s API-first architecture; Rockwell highlights additional AI capabilities on the platform, such as an authoring agent for digital work instructions and analysis agents.
