Serica Energy reports strong H1 cash flow and moves to net cash

Serica Energy generated operating cash flow after tax of USD 280m in the first half of 2026 and turned net debt of USD 200m at the start of the year into net cash of USD 26m. Revenue and production rose thanks to higher output and realized prices; average production was just over 45,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day. For 2026 the company expects operating cash flow of USD 450–475m and maintained the interim dividend at GBP 0.06 per share. Serica Energy introduces dividend policy and sets production target of over 50,000 boe/d

Serica Energy announces a new dividend policy: from 2026 it will distribute 15–30% of operating cash flow after tax. The company aims for an average annual production of more than 50,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day over the next decade; short-cycle projects could add up to 30,000 boe/d. Serica Energy places US$300m bond with 7.875% coupon

Serica Energy has placed a five-year senior unsecured bond of US$300 million with a 7.875% coupon; the transaction was oversubscribed and settlement is scheduled for around 12 May 2026. A listing will be sought on Euronext ABM in Oslo.
