Dieses Segment bietet auch Datenspeichermaschinen für die Produktion von optischen Disc-Formaten wie CD, DVD, Dual Layer Blu-ray und Ultra HD Blu-ray Discs. Das Segment Halbleiter liefert Sondermaschinen und Maschinenplattformen wie TIMARIS und ROTARIS für den Einsatz in magnetoresistiven Direktzugriffsspeichern, Sensoren, Leistungsreglern und mikroelektromechanischen Systemen. Die Singulus Technologies AG wurde 1995 gegründet und hat ihren Hauptsitz in Kahl am Main, Deutschland.
