Sintana has agreed with ExxonMobil to settle an arbitration concerning the VMM-37 block in Colombia. Sintana will assign the rights and interests in the block to ExxonMobil; ExxonMobil will pay a total of US$9 million in two tranches (US$3 million within 60 days, US$6 million after regulatory approval). Both parties will drop the arbitration and release each other once the assignment is approved by Colombian authorities.
