Structure Therapeutics advances development of oral obesity drugs
Structure Therapeutics reported progress at the Cantor Fitzgerald Healthcare Conference on its oral GLP-1 program Aleniglipron and the oral amylin candidate ACCG-2671. Aleniglipron is in two initiated global Phase III trials (ACCOMPLISH-1/2) with data targeted for the end of 2028, and the company reports $1.3 billion in cash to fund key milestones. Initial human data for ACCG-2671 showed a half-life of six days, no adverse events at low doses, and an early weight loss of 3.3% in the 10 mg cohort; 12-week data are expected in the first half of next year.
