UGI Corp introduces new short-term incentive program for executives

UGI Corp’s Compensation and Talent Development Committee approved a new short-term bonus program for executives that will replace the prior annual bonus plans for UGI, AmeriGas, UGI Utilities and subsidiaries effective October 1, 2026. Eligible executives, including Section 16-classified executive officers, will receive performance-based cash incentives expressed as a percentage of base salary, with eligibility tied to annual goals, service-time criteria and certain termination causes; treatment on involuntary termination without cause will follow the UGI Executive Severance Plan and the full document is filed with the SEC. UGI misses Q3 forecasts on revenue and adjusted EPS

UGI reported adjusted diluted EPS of -$0.20 for the third fiscal quarter (expectation: -$0.11) and revenue of $1.33 billion versus an expected $1.54 billion. Management cited warmer weather, weaker propane growth and portfolio adjustments as reasons, but highlighted progress on debt reduction and the supply business. The stock fell slightly to $34.96; UGI reaffirmed its full-year adjusted EPS guidance of $2.75–$2.90 and kept its target of 5–7% annual EPS growth through 2029. UGI Corporation distribuisce, immagazzina, trasporta e commercializza prodotti energetici e servizi correlati negli Stati Uniti e a livello internazionale. La società opera attraverso quattro segmenti: AmeriGas Propane, UGI International, Midstream & Marketing e UGI Utilities. Distribuisce propano a circa 1,4 milioni di clienti residenziali, commerciali/industriali, di carburanti per motori, agricoli e grossisti, attraverso 1.600 punti di distribuzione del propano. La società distribuisce inoltre gas di petrolio liquefatto (GPL) a clienti residenziali, commerciali, industriali, agricoli, grossisti e clienti di carburante per automobili; e fornisce servizi di logistica, stoccaggio e altri servizi a distributori terzi di GPL. Inoltre, svolge attività di vendita al dettaglio di gas naturale, carburanti liquidi ed energia elettrica a circa 12.600 clienti residenziali, commerciali e industriali presso 42.400 siti. Inoltre, la società distribuisce gas naturale a circa 672.000 clienti in contee della Pennsylvania orientale e centrale attraverso la propria rete di distribuzione di circa 12.400 miglia di condotte principali del gas; e fornisce energia elettrica a circa 62.500 clienti nella Pennsylvania nord-orientale attraverso 2.600 miglia di linee e 14 sottostazioni. Inoltre, gestisce impianti di generazione elettrica, tra cui impianti a carbone, impianti alimentati da gas di discarica, impianti solari e impianti a gas naturale; un impianto di liquefazione, stoccaggio e rigassificazione del gas naturale; stazioni di stoccaggio del propano e di miscelazione propano-aria; e terminali ferroviari di trasbordo. Gestisce inoltre contratti di trasporto e stoccaggio di gas naturale tramite condotte; sviluppa, possiede e gestisce gasdotti, infrastrutture di raccolta e impianti di stoccaggio del gas. UGI Corporation è stata costituita nel 1991 ed ha sede a King of Prussia, in Pennsylvania.
