Webstep: revenue down 11% in second quarter after staff cuts and project losses

Webstep reported an 11% drop in revenue in the second quarter to NOK 190.4m, caused by a reduced workforce, intensified competition in the public sector and the completion or loss of several customer projects. EBIT fell to NOK 13.9m and the EBIT margin declined to 7.3% from 8.9% a year earlier. Operating cash flow was negatively affected by seasonal payment patterns and changed tax payment timings.
