At the Jefferies Global Industrials Conference, Amcor reported $285m of synergies in the first year after acquiring Berry Global (target $260m) and reaffirmed a three-year target of $650m. The company lowered its 2026 free cash flow guidance to about $1.3bn, weighed down by roughly $500m of additional working capital, which it expects to unwind in 12–18 months. Net debt is at 3.5x, with a target of 3.0x by end-2027; dividend and investment-grade rating remain priorities. Amcor’s board has dismissed PwC Switzerland as its auditor and appointed PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC US) as the new auditor. The change follows a recommendation from the audit committee and will become effective upon filing the annual report on Form 10‑K for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2026. PwC US will assume the audit for the transition fiscal year through December 31, 2026, while PwC Switzerland will continue to support statutory filings for the year ended June 30, 2026. Amcor beat estimates in the fourth fiscal quarter for adjusted EPS ($1.23) and revenue ($6.4bn), but full-year free cash flow came in at $1.3bn, about $200m below expectations. The company gave an EPS range of $1.80–1.90 for the six months to Dec. 31, 2026, leaving little room for upside. RBC cut the stock to "Hold" after UBS had earlier rated it "Buy."
