AVI increases profit for 2026 despite weaker second half

For the year to 30 June 2026, AVI reports revenue growth of 1.4%, an operating profit increase of 4.4% and a 6.0% rise in headline earnings. Operating cash flow rose 10.6% to ZAR 4.4bn, net debt fell to ZAR 1.7bn, and the company is paying a final dividend of ZAR 4.18 and a special dividend of ZAR 3.00 per share. The second half was weaker due to higher energy costs, problems in certain categories and a revaluation in the abalone business, but restructurings and cost discipline supported margins. AVI remains cautious for the coming year, is pursuing further efficiency measures, product and channel optimisation and says acquisitions with a clear strategic fit remain possible. » Więcej na de.investing.com
