Paramount is developing a live-action Cyberpunk 2077 film based on CD Projekt Red’s franchise, with producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura attached and no release date announced. The announcement follows the game’s commercial success—over 40 million copies sold—and existing franchise expansions, including a Netflix anime and a sequel in development. CD Projekt Red reported H1 2026 revenue up 23% to 435 million PLN and net profit up 37% to 249 million PLN; net margin was 57%. License income rose to 95 million PLN, development expenses were 385 million PLN, cash amounted to 1.29 billion PLN and equity exceeds 3.5 billion PLN.
