Dynacor has signed a memorandum of intent with the World Gold Council to formalize small-scale gold mining and integrate responsibly sourced gold into global supply chains. The collaboration supports the Gold Processing Initiative with origin verification, centralized processing facilities and standards for traceability, environmental, labor and health requirements, and AML obligations. The aim is to reduce mercury use, improve recovery rates, promote new facilities in Africa and Latin America, and mobilize private and institutional capital. The Dynacor Group appointed Daniel Misiano, previously COO, as president and CEO; Jean Martineau will remain with the company as a board member. The appointment was announced at the annual general meeting, where eight board members were elected and Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton was confirmed as auditor.
