IDEX Biometrics accelerates commercialization after Q2 with rising order backlog

IDEX Biometrics reported Q2 2026 revenue of NOK 1.6m and an order backlog of NOK 23.7m, which is expected to be fully delivered in the second half of the year. For Q3, NOK 8.5m is pre-booked, of which NOK 4.5m has already been shipped; cash and cash equivalents stood at NOK 28.5m with no interest-bearing debt. The company recorded an increase in active pilot projects to 23 and 25 distribution partners, which it views as an indicator of accelerated commercial scaling.
