IONOS cuts staff and launches savings programme with €35 million one-off costs

IONOS plans to reduce around 450 full-time positions, cutting workforce from about 3,800 to 3,350, and budgets roughly €35 million in special costs for this. The adjusted EBITDA forecast for this year of about €530 million remains unchanged; from 2027 annual savings of up to €30 million are expected. Oddo raises price target for IONOS to 40 euros – stock slightly weaker after yearly high

Analyst Oliver Metzger of Oddo BHF raised the price target for IONOS to 40 euros and sees the company as one of the largest beneficiaries of recent reform initiatives in Germany. He expects growth to accelerate in the second half of the year, despite a moderate pullback of around 1 percent in the stock at the start of the week.
