Jinhui Shipping increases Q2 2026 profit despite revenue decline

Jinhui Shipping reported revenue of $36m in Q2 2026 (-9% y/y) and a net profit of $5m, an increase of 374% compared with the previous quarter. The average daily TCE rate rose 30% to $18,015, while daily operating costs for owned vessels fell 20%. Leverage was only 7% and the fleet was 99% utilized; the revenue decline was mainly due to vessel sales.
