NFON revises 2026 guidance after falling revenue and weaker profitability

NFON has revised its 2026 guidance: expected group revenue €84.5–86.0m (previously growth in the low- to mid-single-digit percentage range) and adjusted EBITDA €9.5–10.5m (previously >€12m). In H1 2026, revenue was €42.5m (prior year €44.2m) and adjusted EBITDA €4.4m (prior year €5.7m). The causes are a challenging market environment, restrained investments, longer decision cycles and weaker performance in business telephony; the strategic growth areas Intelligent Assistant and Customer Engagement grew significantly but are not yet sufficient to offset the shortfall. NFON reports revenue decline in Q1 2026 despite growth in AI segments

NFON recorded a revenue decline of 2.3% in Q1 2026 to EUR 21.6m, driven by macroeconomic uncertainty and cautious customer spending. Recurring revenues remained stable at 93.8%, while adjusted EBITDA fell 30.8% to EUR 1.8m. The AI-powered areas "Customer Engagement" and "Intelligent Assistant" each grew by more than 10%, underscoring the strategic shift to an "AI-first" model.
