Nichols has announced the launch of ready-to-drink Myprotein Clear Whey Protein Water for September 2026. The 500 ml product will be available in Vimto and Raspberry Lemon flavours at a recommended price of £2.99, contains 15 g of clear whey protein isolate, and is sugar-free and low in calories. Nichols announced that supervisory board member John Nichols on 25 November 2025 gratuitously transferred 1.5 million ordinary shares equally to three family trusts (500,000 shares each). As a result, his economic holding fell to 500,000 shares (1.4% of share capital), while Matthew Nichols now holds 1,584,838 shares (4.3%). Nichols has appointed Matthew Rothwell as its new chief financial officer and company secretary; he will take up the role by 13 April 2026 at the latest. Rothwell joins from THG, where he has been deputy CFO for more than eight years, and was previously in senior finance roles at Asda and Sainsbury’s after a career at Deloitte. The appointment follows the withdrawal of interim finance chief David Taylor at the end of November; Rebecca Hughes is supporting the transition as finance controller without a board role.
