Berkshire Hathaway has maintained its large position in Occidental Petroleum, a stock Warren Buffett first bought in 2019 and aggressively re-accumulated in 2022. Buffett praised Occidental's management and viewed the investment as a long-term oil bet; Berkshire has not trimmed the stake even after his exit.
