The management board and supervisory board of Palfinger are initiating legal measures to ring-fence the Russian holdings, which are intended to lead to the accounting deconsolidation of those units. In Q3 2026 an impairment charge of around EUR 135m on Russian assets will be recognised as profit-affecting. For Q1–Q3 2026 the board expects EBITDA to be around EUR 120m; however, the impairment will be reported as a result from discontinued operations and will reduce net income. Free cash flow was negative in the first quarter due to higher investments and inventory buildup; the company confirms its full-year target of free cash flow above €100m and expects improvements in the second half of the year.
