Analysts at Berenberg reiterate their buy recommendation for Ströer and set a €52 price target, citing two tailwinds: an emerging improvement in the German economy and a planned reform of private pensions that is expected to boost the financial sector’s advertising spending. Operationally, digital out-of-home advertising is growing particularly strongly; in the first half of the year OOH revenue rose 8% and digital OOH by 18.5%, while adjusted segment EBITDA increased by just over 10%. Financial investors reportedly in talks to acquire Ströer or its core outdoor advertising business for around €2.5 billion, or roughly €45 per share, which would represent a premium of just over 20% compared with the current price of about €37. At the same time the operating environment is recovering: the German outdoor advertising market grew by 5.9% in the first half of 2026, and programmatic DOOH campaigns in the DACH region recorded more than 130% more campaigns and impressions from January to July, with Ströer among the largest recipients of the advertising spend.
