Transat misses Q3 forecast – fuel costs weigh on results

Transat reported an adjusted loss of CAD 2.18 per share and adjusted EBITDA of minus CAD 1 million for Q3 2026, as a 56% rise in jet fuel prices to USD 3.74 per gallon severely squeezed margins. Revenue rose slightly to CAD 793 million (+3%) but was insufficient to avoid a net loss of CAD 107 million and negative free cash flow of CAD 302 million.
