Treatt recorded a 6.5% decline in revenue to £59.9m for the six months to 31 March 2026. Adjusted EBITDA fell 18.1% to £5.4m and profit before tax and exceptional items dropped 33.4% to £2.5m; gross and operating margins and adjusted earnings per share also declined. Net debt stood at £4.4m, compared with net cash of £0.9m a year earlier, while Treatt reported growth in health and wellness products and in China. Treatt has signed a framework agreement with major shareholder Döhler that places transactions between the two parties on market terms (at arm’s length). Döhler holds around 28% of the shares and receives the right, after consultation and due diligence, to propose a candidate for the board of directors; this right lapses if the stake falls below 25%.
