Vulcan Energy Resources appoints Angus Barker as non-executive chairman

With effect from 12 September 2026, the board of Vulcan Energy Resources has appointed Angus Barker as non-executive chairman. Dr Francis Wedin is stepping back from the role of executive chairman into a founder role and will in future drive the growth and business development portfolio. The board cites the secured financing position and the ongoing construction of the €2.2 billion Lionheart project as the reasons for the change.
