WashTec lowers annual targets after margin decline, medium-term recovery potential remains

In H1 2026 WashTec recorded revenue growth of 6.6% to €247.8m, while operating profit stagnated and the EBIT margin fell to 7.1%. Management cut the full-year EBIT margin forecast to 8–9%, citing delays in efficiency programmes and additional restructuring costs. The long-term target of a 12–14% margin by 2028/29 remains; growth drivers are expected to be the service and subscription business, digital solutions and expansion in North America. WashTec supervisory board member Broger increases shareholding over two days

Norbert Broger, a member of WashTec’s supervisory board, expanded his private portfolio by 2,000 shares at €37.50 each on 16 September 2026 and by a further 1,000 shares at €35.50 each on 17 September 2026. The transactions were announced on 21 September 2026, while the WashTec share moved little and traded around €35.30–36.00 on the FSE.
