BGC Group launches business unit for trading compute and storage capacity
BGC Group has founded BGC Compute Infrastructure Markets, a new unit to broker secondary-market transactions for compute and storage capacity, placed within the Energy, Commodities and Shipping segment. Co-heads are Marc Kuber and Zach Espinosa; the unit will initially offer over‑the‑counter brokerage services and provide access to Fenics Market Data and the Lucera connectivity platform. Management views compute and storage capacity as an increasingly commodity-like asset class with volatility and forward-price risks and aims to provide clients with liquidity, market intelligence and execution. The announcement comes against the backdrop of a rise in BGC’s share price this year and stronger recent revenues. » Więcej na de.investing.com
