Mercia secures a three-year credit agreement with Metro Bank for up to £38.0m, consisting of a bullet loan of £13.0m and a £25.0m revolving credit facility. The interest basis is SONIA plus a margin; the bullet loan carries 3.99% p.a., the revolving line starts at 3.50% p.a. and can fall to 3.00% p.a. with low net leverage. The agreement includes customary representations, covenants, security and default provisions. Three Northern Venture Capital Trusts managed by Mercia have completed a capital raise totaling £80.0 million. The share offers ran from September 2025, with an initial allocation in November 2025 and the remaining allocation scheduled for 2 April 2026. Mercia manages assets of over £2.0 billion; the Northern VCTs provide investment capital to small and medium-sized enterprises in the UK.
