Vivanco insolvent after more than 100 years

Insolvency proceedings have been opened for traditional Ahrensburg firm Vivanco; a previously self-administered proceeding was ended at the end of July and a regular insolvency procedure initiated. Peter-Alexander Borchhardt was appointed insolvency administrator. Vivanco, most recently a supplier of electronic accessories with brands such as Aircoustic and Prowire, has seen falling sales since 2020, sold parts of its German business to SBS in 2025 and generated €9.6 million in revenue in the first half of 2025. The future of the company and its employees is uncertain; the number of staff had fallen from around 1,000 to about 300 and the majority is held by a subsidiary of the Ningbo Ship Group. » Więcej na t-online.de
