From next spring, 30 newly procured Regiolis trains from Alstom will be gradually deployed on border routes between eastern France and Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate and the Saarland. The entry into service was delayed due to additional approval and brake tests in Germany; these tests are expected to be completed by the end of the year.
