S&P Global Ratings has moved Cemex’s outlook from "stable" to "positive" and affirmed the issuer rating at BBB-. The EU Commission suspects Cemex among several construction‑chemicals firms of having colluded on prices for chemicals used in cement, concrete and mortar between 2021 and 2022 to push prices up after the Covid‑19 pandemic and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
