Dürr posts improved result in second quarter despite BBS problems

Dürr reports an after-tax loss from continuing operations of €89.1 million in the second quarter, compared with €110.5 million a year earlier. For BBS Dürr plans an impairment of roughly €90–100 million, the elimination of around 500 jobs and annual savings of about €30 million; restructuring costs for 2026 are estimated at €40–50 million.
