REGENXBIO appointed Greg Ciongoli to its board of directors with immediate effect. Ciongoli is founder and managing partner of Adiumentum Capital Management, spent more than 16 years at The Baupost Group, and already serves on the boards of Atara Biotherapeutics and Zymeworks. Regenxbio stock plunges after FDA clinical hold for RGX-121

Regenxbio’s shares fell about 24.3% in premarket trading to $8.12 after the FDA imposed a clinical hold on the gene therapy RGX-121 due to asymptomatic spinal MRI findings in five former trial participants.
