Three companies of the SDM group – including parent SDM SE, Industrie- und Werkschutz Mundt and SDM Sicherheitsdienste München – have announced insolvency filings. The share price fell from €0.64 to as low as €0.04. SDM had previously reported disappointing 2024 results, increased material expenses due to subcontractors and burdensome acquisitions; revenues are also volatile because of large customer contracts such as protection work in the Hambach Forest for RWE.
