SMT Scharf adopts 2026 forecast and strategy to realign toward electric underground and tunnel transport solutions

The management board of SMT Scharf continues to expect group revenue of €100–120 million for 2025 and EBIT of €0.5–2.5 million. For 2026, revenue of €95–115 million and EBIT of €1–2 million are planned. The new 2026 strategy focuses on efficiency improvements in global supply chains, integration of sites and diversification into light electric vehicles (LEVs) and battery-powered transport solutions, whose development and manufacture are to take place mainly in China. After the shutdown of Canadian subsidiary RDH, further personnel measures and realignments in Hamm and Xuzhou are planned; expected one-off effects are included in the forecast. » Mais em finanzen.net
