  • Stadler Rail reports record H1 2026 sales, stock plunges despite orders and margin rise

Stadler Rail achieved record first-half 2026 sales of 1.96 billion CHF (+40%) with an EBIT of 79.5 million CHF and an EBIT margin of 4.0%. Order intake rose 60% to 2.738 billion CHF and the order backlog stands at 33.3 billion CHF. Despite a confirmed full-year guidance (sales >5 billion CHF, EBIT margin >5%), the share price fell about 22%, driven by concerns over cash flow, the pace of profitability improvement and burdens from Germany as well as flood damage in Valencia. Management expects balanced or slightly positive free cash flow in the second half and mid-term margins of 6–8%, but still sees risks related to Berlin and the method of revenue recognition. » Mais em de.investing.com

  • Stadler Rail: sales and EBIT rose sharply, order backlog reached record

Stadler Rail increased sales by 40% to CHF 2.0 billion in the first half of 2026 and lifted EBIT to CHF 79.5 million; the operating margin was 4.0%. Net profit rose only slightly to CHF 31.2 million due to the absence of one-off items and negative currency effects. Order intake climbed to CHF 2.7 billion and the order backlog reached a record CHF 33.3 billion. Stadler confirms its full-year target of significantly more than CHF 5 billion in sales and is aiming for an EBIT margin above 5%, but notes that storm damage from 2024 will have cost and delivery impacts through 2027. » Mais em finanzen.net

  • Stadler Rail reduces Tina-tram vibrations with softer wheels and new damping concept

Stadler Rail and Heag Mobilo report progress in reducing vibrations of the Tina trams after tests in Darmstadt: softer wheels lowered readings by 3–10% at some measurement points, while results varied at other locations. Stadler is also developing a damping device for the bogie; both approaches are currently being trialed at Baselland Transport AG. A modified Tina prototype is due to be tested again in Darmstadt by the end of the year. » Mais em finanzen.net
