Telecom Italia posted Q2 EBITDA after lease liabilities of €998m (consensus €995m) and returned to profitability with a net profit of €88m. Group revenue rose 2% in the first half to €6.8bn, while adjusted EBITDA increased 6.3% excluding MVNO. A court in Milan rejected Telecom Italia’s request for interim measures against the KKR-backed FiberCop. The dispute concerned new tariffs and the disclosure of the commercial terms of the Master Service Agreement that governs TIM’s network access.
