The French investment bank Rothschild & Co is buying the multi-family office Marcard, Stein & Co from Hamburg private bank M.M. Warburg, expanding Rothschild’s asset management business in Germany and in the process obtaining a German banking licence. Around 80 employees will move to Rothschild. Dar Global PLC intends to transfer its listing on the London Stock Exchange from “Equity Shares (Transition)” to “Equity Shares (Commercial Companies)” on 9 September 2025; this requires approval from the UK regulator FCA but not from shareholders.
