Profit jump drives Acerinox shares to 52-week high

Acerinox reported a net profit of €77 million for H1 2026 after a loss in the previous year, marking a clear turnaround. EBITDA rose 27%, steel production increased 2% to 1.03 million tonnes and revenue was about €2.97 billion. Acerinox: EBITDA rises 18% in Q1 2026 thanks to trade protection measures

Acerinox reported an adjusted EBITDA of €119m for Q1 2026 (+18% versus the previous quarter) on net sales of €1,384m and melt production of 493,000 tonnes (+22%). The EBITDA margin improved to 7%, supported by lower inventory write-downs (€25m vs. €60m) and trade protection measures such as US tariffs (Section 232) and EU measures. The stainless-steel segment drove the recovery, while high-performance alloys were pressured by weaker oil & gas demand. Acerinox posts robust result in cyclical trough; tariffs support outlook

Acerinox reported 2025 net sales of €5.781 billion and adjusted EBITDA of €422 million, with strong operating cash flow of €455 million; net financial debt rose to €1.189 billion.
