Valve may get AMD Gainsborough semi-custom chip for Steam Deck 2, but evidence is mixed

Leaked AMD drivers and import records point to a semi-custom AMD chip codenamed Gainsborough built on TSMC N3P and shipped in a 25×25 mm package, fueling speculation it could power a Steam Deck 2. Additional leaks link Ryzen Z3/Z3 Extreme to a 15 W power target and the same package size. ARK shifts weight from AMD to NVIDIA and increases NVIDIA position

Cathie Wood’s ARK rebalanced: across four funds they bought a total of about 357,000 NVIDIA shares and sold nearly 182,000 AMD shares, with the reduction in AMD weight in individual funds in some cases outweighing the NVIDIA additions. AMD to acquire AI start-up World Labs for $8.2 billion

AMD will acquire the two‑year‑old AI start‑up World Labs for about $8.2 billion in stock, subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions. World Labs develops spatial AI models that generate 3D worlds from text, images, videos and layouts and are intended to serve as the basis for simulation engines.
