CoreWeave reported Q2/2026 revenue of about $2.58 billion and a revenue backlog of roughly $104 billion, to which more than $25 billion in orders were added shortly after the quarter ended. Large framework agreements with partners like OpenAI (up to $22.4 billion), as well as orders from Meta, Anthropic and traditional companies, are driving demand for GPU capacity. At the same time, capital expenditures are massive: Q2 capex was around $9.4 billion with an annual forecast of $35–39 billion, largely to be financed through external debt. CoreWeave is introducing the service “Physical AI Field Engineering,” in which CoreWeave engineers are embedded directly in customer teams to develop and deploy models using customers’ own data. The service leverages technologies from the acquisition of Monolith AI and combines expertise from automotive, aerospace and mechanical engineering to validate models from research through deployment. CoreWeave CEO Michael Intrator says the company is unable to keep up with daily demand for Nvidia GPUs, with every unit highly contested among clients.
