Credem increases H1-2026 net profit by 12.5% to €312.9m

Credem reports a net profit of €312.9m for the first half of 2026, up 12.5% year-on-year, driven by strong recurring revenues, fee growth and a net interest income of €501m. The bank recorded an NPL ratio of 1.5%, cost of risk of 9 basis points and a CET1 ratio of 16.22%, indicating high asset quality and solid capitalisation. Management expects net interest income to grow by at least 5% in 2026, double-digit growth in recurring fees and around 3% loan growth; M&A options are being considered.
