FBR Limited boosts performance of construction robot Hadrian to 360 blocks per hour

Australian robotics maker FBR Limited has further developed its masonry robot Hadrian so it can theoretically lay simple wall structures at up to 360 blocks per hour (previously 300). In practice, speed falls on complex structures in favor of greater accuracy; in tests Hadrian built a 751‑block structure with an effective rate of 360 blocks per hour. The robot is mounted on a truck with an extendable boom of up to 32 m, lays blocks up to 45 kg using the fast‑setting Fastbrick Adhesive, and is intended to operate in winds up to 60 km/h and light rain. FBR is offering Hadrian at a price of 7.8 million AUD (around 4.36 million euros). » Mere på heise.de
