Guardant Health says it will appeal a final judgment by the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware in lawsuits brought by TwinStrand Biosciences and the University of Washington. The ruling relates to products that were sold in 2023; current versions of Guardant Reveal and Shield are not expected to be affected by the injunction or potential royalties. At its growth conference Guardant Health reported strong commercial momentum: all core segments (oncology, MRD, Shield) are growing significantly. Shield is the main growth driver with rising test volumes and improved economics (ASP > $700; COGS expected to fall to ~ $200 by 2028). UnitedHealth is broadly adopting Shield, and ACS guidelines support acceptance; Guardant expects 270,000–285,000 Shield tests in 2026 and plans to expand its field sales force. Guardant360 Liqui CDx received FDA approval and the company is pursuing ADLT certification in H1 2027, which—if widely reimbursed—could enable ASPs in the $5,000–$8,500 range.
