KBC Group reported a Q2 net profit of €1.152 billion and a return on tangible equity of 18%. Net interest income was €1.805 billion and fee and commission income reached a record €758 million. Management raised its 2026 guidance for total income, net interest income, insurance income and loan growth, and confirmed an interim dividend of €1 per share. KBC posted a net profit of €557m in the first quarter of 2026 and confirmed its full-year guidance, even though bank and insurance taxes amounted to €549m in the quarter. Tangible return on equity was 16% (14% adjusted) and the cost-to-income ratio excluding taxes was 41%.
