Longfor Properties reassures investors after funding pledge and stock jumps

Longfor Properties' stock rose 8.4% to HK$6.325 after the company told bondholders it has sufficient funds to service short-term debt. Longfor reportedly set aside Rmb1.3 billion to repay a bank loan maturing later this month and took on about Rmb3.2 billion of new loans for operating properties in the first half of the year at an interest rate of around 3%.
