Barclays cut its ratings for Dell Technologies, Hewlett Packard Enterprise and NetApp from Overweight to Equal-weight, citing high valuations and a so far missing AI breakthrough. The dividend yield for 2026 is 1.91% (previous year 2.35%), while the share price has risen 135.25% over three years; combined return including dividends amounts to 143.18%. NetApp reported a record quarter and raised its fiscal 2027 outlook to mid-single-digit revenue growth of 17% and EPS growth of 22%. Revenue from all-flash arrays rose 47%, public cloud revenue grew 28% (19% on a constant-currency basis), and management says AI projects are moving from pilot to production phases (over 1,100 AI deals in FY26 plus 350 in the last quarter). ONTAP remains, according to the board, a competitive advantage for on-premises, cloud and AI workloads; at the same time NetApp is addressing rising flash costs by helping customers shift “cold data” to cheaper disk systems.
