Daiichi Sankyo launches phase‑3 study of ENHERTU with Pembrolizumab as first‑line treatment for HER2‑overexpressing NSCLC

Daiichi Sankyo and AstraZeneca have treated the first patient in the global phase‑3 DESTINY‑Lung06 study of ENHERTU in combination with Pembrolizumab as first‑line therapy for inoperable, locally advanced or metastatic HER2‑overexpressing NSCLC. The randomized trial is expected to enroll about 686 patients; the primary endpoint is progression‑free survival, with overall survival as an important secondary endpoint. FDA grants Daiichi Sankyo and Merck breakthrough therapy designation for Raludotatug Deruxtecan

The FDA has designated Raludotatug Deruxtecan from Daiichi Sankyo and Merck as a Breakthrough Therapy for the treatment of adult patients with platinum-resistant, CDH6-expressing ovarian, primary peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer. The decision is based on data from a Phase 1 study and the ongoing Phase 2/3 study REJOICE-Ovarian01, whose Phase 3 portion has objective response rate and progression-free survival as primary endpoints.
