Santhera: phase‑1 topline for AGAMREE® shows glucocorticoid activity without meaningful immunosuppression

Santhera reports topline results from a Phase‑1 study of AGAMREE® conducted by Catalyst, which show glucocorticoid and anti‑inflammatory effects at clinical doses but only minor immunosuppressive biomarker effects. Relevant immunosuppressive effects were observed only at doses above the currently approved AGAMREE dosage. Santhera reports 98% revenue growth in 2025 driven by AGAMREE

Santhera recorded a 98% increase in total revenue in 2025 to CHF 77.4 million, driven by strong uptake of AGAMREE in Europe and the US as well as license and milestone receipts. Product sales rose to CHF 25.8 million and license and milestone payments to CHF 23.1 million; Catalyst paid a milestone of USD 12.5 million after US sales exceeded USD 100 million. After year-end, Santhera signed an exclusive license agreement with Nxera worth up to USD 205 million, which included an upfront payment of USD 40 million.
