Terumo posts record revenue of 1.1 trillion yen in fiscal 2025

In the fiscal year 2025, which ended in March 2026, Terumo posted its fifth consecutive record revenue at 1.1 trillion yen (+9%) and an operating income of 176.3 billion yen. Terumo reported its highest quarterly revenue in company history for Q3 FY2025 of JPY 2.966 billion (+13% y/y) and year-to-date revenue of JPY 8.316 billion (+8%). Adjusted operating profit for the first three quarters rose to JPY 1.735 billion (+9%) with a margin of 20.9%, while free cash flow plunged to JPY -1.738 billion. Growth drivers were North America and the Cardiac and Vascular (notably TIS) and Blood and Cell Technologies segments; the acquisition of OrganOx made a significant contribution. Terumo reported record revenue of ¥534.9 billion (+5%) for the first half and marked profit growth: operating income ¥101.0 billion (+15%), adjusted operating income ¥114.4 billion (+10%) and net profit ¥76.9 billion (+22%). The drivers were mainly strong sales in North America, notably the Cardiac and Vascular segment; management cited price measures and cost control as margin supports. Free cash flow fell 50% to ¥31.0 billion due to higher investments and the acquisition of OrganOx, while guidance for revenue and adjusted operating income was raised.
