A&W Food Services increases profit sharply in Q3 2025 and confirms growth strategy

A&W Food Services reported a pre-tax profit increase of 163% in Q3 2025 to $23.6m on system sales of $479.6m (+3.1%). Adjusted EBITDA rose to $25.8m and the margin improved to 36.2%. The company is pursuing expansion in Canada, particularly in Ontario and Quebec, partnerships (including with Petro-Canada) and measures to improve franchise profitability.
