Lindt cuts 2026 sales forecast due to high cocoa prices and weak demand – share falls
Lindt has trimmed its 2026 sales forecast for the second time in six months to stagnation up to a maximum of +2%, sending the share down about 8% to 78.60 Swiss francs. Historically high cocoa prices forced substantial price increases, which weighed on demand particularly in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, while North America and Asia grew.
